Hey everybody! Have you missed me? I've missed all of you so much and I really hope to be back on my feet soon. I will go in, briefly, as to what has been going on. We are in a bit of a pickle here and unfortunately it has to do with a situation that arose, one of which I was hoping wasn't true. During the period I was looking for a marketer for Jersey's Classic Rock in order to obtain sponsors and advertisers, I fell knee-deep into a scam I had no idea I was getting myself into. A scam that sent me back a ways in terms of, before all of that happening, the station was doing quite well. Now, others have been scammed by this same person and I am going to work with others to stop this scammer from making anyone elses' lives a living hell. Her name is Patty Similien, also known as S. Patrice Similien, also known as Star / Starpower. These were the names I was given.
This was a major scam that lead to the shut-down of Jersey's Classic Rock and also lead to a major debt that must be paid off asap. The donation drive, and I thank all of you, went towards that debt, but that must be paid off right away before the station can continue. Since the scam, I obviously am a lot deeper than I was a while ago, because now I know I am not receiving a dime from this person, and that also means that t-shirts that are owed to you, and I apologize greatly, will be delayed a bit. I am working my absolute hardest to get these t-shirts out to everyone that is expecting one, but now things have shifted gears. I will be taking major legal action to try and receive the funds I put out back, plus some hopefully. Let justice be served for this shouldn't go on. Please feel free to comment on this as well.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a pleasant weekend as did I. I spent my weekend relaxing, catching up on plenty of lost sleep, and today I feel good! Being that it's my birthday could have quite a bit to do with it, but either or, I feel good! Boy do I have some news for all of you, but I have been asking myself: "Should I tell everyone, or should I just let the suspense continue?" Well, I still haven't decided that yet...

Hey everyone. Good EARLY morning, although it may still be EVENING to some of you. I leave you all with yet another update.. A personal update as to what's been going on the past 12 or so hours.. Has it been that much? Or has it been longer since my last update? Oh well, we'll use that... Here we go!
Hey everyone! Day 7 and the station is still down. I continue to stress out about the current situation. The only two things that are getting me through this is your total support and me keeping myself occupied with the voiceover work I am doing. There's no new news as to what's going on with the financials with the radio station... Unfortunately. Very depressing.
So I just finished a live video broadcast that went well. I enjoy doing that as it allows me to continue my daily routine of getting up early in the morning. I can't prep for the show because there is no show as of right now, but I can stream live video from studio to everyone interested in watching. This area here, the "Notices" section of the website has really become a valuable source to receive updated information about myself and the station, so here goes... Another update!
Day 6 - The station is still down due to the fact that the financial situation is not resolved. As you can see it's 3:45 in the morning and I am still up. I can't sleep because I am emotionally drained and it's not good. You need sleep. I really don't want to stay up late because I always get up bright and early in the morning as I have been used to that for quite a while because of the show every weekday...
Day 5 since Jersey's Classic Rock has been up and running. What's really going through my head is the fact that certain "issues" related to this case need to be taken care of, and immediately. Thank you all so much for the donations, support, etc for Jersey's Classic Rock. As of right now, the station is currently down as you can see/hear, however I and everyone here at the station are working ten-fold to get the station back up and running as soon as possible.
Attention - Listeners of Jersey's Classic Rock - NJ's Classic Rock Station. There has been a severe malfuntion that shut the radio servers down. The required staff is working on solving this issue ASAP.
Jersey's Classic Rock needed a much-needed system update via the main system, so the broadcast has been down for about a half an hour. The station will be back up and running by 5:15 pm EST. I apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate the full support of all of the great listeners & fans of Jersey's Classic Rock
The stream is currently running right now on a temporary connection (very fast and reliable), and things have been going great. I received a call from the tech that is going to install and setup the Business Class Internet Connection and it will be here tomorrow before 9:30 in the morning for "The Show" w/ JJ the DJ.
The tech came by and was here for about two hours. Certain things were discussed and we're going to need a new (updated) modem. The Jersey's Classic Rock stream is run off of a dedicated Comcast Business Internet Connection.
Jersey's Classic Rock is currently having connection issues at the moment. The problem is a nuisance more than anything but it is (unfortunately) enough to make things difficult for both you (the listener) and myself...
Due to the video servers not running, there will be no video for "The Show" w/ JJ the DJ for February 16th, 2009 - 11:00 am - 2:00 pm EST. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. However, the audio stream is active - so tune in quick! The show is going on now (current time is 11:23 am EST as I type)!
The site looks different! This will continue on as my web designer really enjoys jazzing up the site. Don't worry, you won't see a HUGE change, but any revamping that will make the site more user-friendly and of course eye-appealing is most-certainly not a negative deal. As we welcome in the new year, we leave behind 2008, a year where a lot of people struggled in an economy that just didn't cooperate the way we all would have liked. However, this new year is going to be better, I just know it!...
